About the webmaster

My particular interest is in the area of Counter Revolutionary Warfare (CRW) now termed CT or Counter Terrorist, this ultra-secretive area of operational activities was thrust into the public limelight during the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege, codenames Operation Nimrod by the SAS.

Since then these sinister black clad figures have been on the wanted list of the worlds media, however they have managed to retain a lot of their mystery and mystique.

I've always been interested in the forces since a young boy, and joined the Royal Air Force straight from school. I served 12 years as an Armourer (mostly on an EOD team) and consider those 12 years some of the best of my life. In fact if it hadn't been for the redundancies thrust on the Armed Forces in the late 1990's, I'd probably still be serving.

I think once its in the blood....

I must just thank one person for helping me to take my interest in this subject to the level of obsession! I first bumped into Simon at an open day at a Model shop in Caterham called Modellers Loft. Stood outside amongst various WWII Re-Enactors was a fully equipped SAS Trooper. Since that day, I've amassed quite a collection of Genuine SAS CRW gear, and quite a dent in the wallet too....Thanks Simon.
